Admission Process

  1. Complete a USPP application and return it to one of 12 Kaplan Education Centers located in China or Singapore.

A program counselor will review the program requirements with you and administer a test to assess your English language skills. A minimum high school GPA of 2.5 is required for admission.

  2. 2. Begin your studies in the US-Sino Pathway Program (USPP).

You will take courses in several subject areas—including a comprehensive English for Academic Purposes course—and receive counseling about your academic, career, and life goals. Students who successfully complete USPP are guaranteed admission to a participating member university.

  3. Attend the Summer Bridge term in the United States.

You will attend the Summer Bridge term to complete your USPP coursework and begin your transition to life at a US university. Once you’ve completed the Summer Bridge term, you’ll begin your studies as a second-year student at one of our outstanding member institutions.
